I really recommend this book to get a better understanding of the biblical worldview in today’s culture. A little challenging and sometimes a little over my head but still practical. Great resource.

If you aren't a Christian I do not recommend this book. Natasha wrote this book to help Christians out. For them to feel encouraged during our current society with how things are going.
Natasha covered very hard topics in this book. She wrote the facts and helped us see the truth about things. It brought me insight into how to handle things and made me question which way of thinking I was doing based on what topic we were listening to. She studied each topic and backed it up with facts about what the world says vs what the Bible says.
This is a book that every Christian should read (in my opinion). Living as a Christian within a secular world is hard and it's easy to be suckered into a certain way of thinking.

I’ve followed and enjoyed Natasha’s insights on social media for a while, but had never read any of her books. When this new one came out I decided to take the plunge and give it a read. I’m so glad I did! Her biblical take on secular society was something I desperately needed. It can be disheartening when you’re bombarded with a secular culture that feels hostile to your beliefs, so it was nice to retreat into a book that helps remind you why you’re holding onto those beliefs and how we can avoid the traps of our popular culture.
Natasha clearly researched well for this book, and gives a wealth of recommendations for further reading if you want to dive more into the topic. And while she knows her stuff, so to speak, she writes in such a relatable way you never feel like you’re out of your depth while reading her book.
Natasha ultimately confirms that yes, it’s really hard to live in this culture sometimes. But it’s not hopeless, because God is in control, and we are not alone.

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars
What a challenging and convicting book. This book has made me look at my faith and how I respond to the secular world around me.
This is a book that I think every Christian should read, especially in light of what is going on in the world rn.
The thing I appreciated the most about this book is how grounded in scripture it is. Scripture is given the ultimate authority and is quoted thoughtfully and carefully. I can tell the author spent much time deciding what scripture to include and making sure that she didn't take things out of context.
The only thing I didn't love about this book was how it was organized. I was confused why certain topics were grouped together in a chapter. There wasn't always a seamless transition from one subject matter to the next.
I also thought there was too much info dumping at the beginning. I think the statistics and research given in the first chapter or two could have been spread out over the whole book, so as to be less overwhelming.
Those issues didn't ruin this book for me, though. This book is still well-written and very interesting. I highly recommend that you give it a read!

Natasha Crain does a fantastic job with explaining how Christians can reclaim a Biblical worldview while we live in a culture that continues to put a stronger focus a secular worldview. The first two sections of the book do a great job setting up the need for a Biblical worldview in our culture. The third section does a great job explaining how to combat some of the common arguments you hear about why a Biblical worldview is "dangerous." This book is a must read for Christians in todays day and age who are struggling to find a Christians place in society.
