Pretty much perfected Dune for me. It's a combination of Dune and Messiah in that Children takes the more complex political web and applies it to the grander scale of Dune.

Characters are all generally more interesting than before, with Duncan and Leto being the highlights for me.

Yeah, one of the best things I've read.
