This book was really good! Well written, a little longer than other books in the genre so it lasted longer, entertaining the whole way through, and unique in that it is centered around a real psychic. I can't wait to read the 2nd one!
This has been on my bookshelf for years. It just kept getting pushed back, but I’m glad I finally read it. It was a cute, cozy mystery with a supernatural twist. Abby is a likeable character but fairly immature for her age. I enjoyed the romance but she acted pretty silly, getting upset about every little thing and pouting like a child. The storyline was Interesting and enjoyable.
This isn’t a very good book but it is a mostly entertaining book. It does feel like it takes forever to get to the plot and then she takes weird side turns. I am pretty sure we all knew what the killer was going to be very quickly after. The MC was TSTL and quite careless. I really liked that she wasn’t taking money from the sister only for that plot line to end. I liked the lovers to enemies to lovers but that wasn’t a slow burn, it was more like a baby fizzle. I just think that a lot of the plot lines were solved too quickly, all the characters that were introduce only to leave were weird. I might give the next book a chance because it could get better but it’s not a good start in my opinion.
One of the books that I got as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. Abby Cooper; Psychic Eye is a cute mystery novel and the main character is psychic which was fascinating. Recently I have liked a lot of lighter mystery books like this one.
I had read one of her short stories and it got me intrigued to pull this series out and start reading them.
This was a great book, very enjoyable and I loved how she would rattle off things about the people she was around....I need a friend like that, well sometimes!

This year I've been on a cozy mystery kick. Which with the way the year has gone isn't a bad thing. They are fun and easy reads and this book isn't any different. I enjoyed how the main character's abilities worked in the plot without being overdone. I was also pleasantly surprised by the ending. I'm always afraid of books in this genre being too predictable. This book didn't land in the too predictable category and I'm so glad.
Average. Not terribly good, but not terribly bad either. Very much a quick sort of read that one speeds through for some light fun. A little 'eh' about the romance aspect, but I didn't hate it. Which is pretty much how this book seemed to me overall--just very, very average.
