Not for me. The setting, the characters, and the plot were all a bit too much. The town is Reindeer Falls. The main characters are Holly Winters and her boss Nick Saint-Croix. Holly has sisters and family all with Christmas names. They work at this Bavarian Bear toy company and are working to open a Teddy Bear Cafe (kind of like an American Girl Doll cafe).
Holly hasn't been to the original cafe in Nuremberg, Germany so Nick makes her go there with him on a business trip where they'll be in close proximity for a week during the holidays. So it's cute and EXTREMELY Christmasy - they go to the Nuremberg Christmas Market and do all the Christmas things. Since Holly's obsessed with Christmas she loves it. This is also where they kiss and later have sex but then Holly gets all ridiculous like "omg now we have to go back to our boss-employee dynamics." And rather than talk about it she just runs away and he misinterprets it. It's not until her friend? sister? is like wtf Holly and makes her talk about her feelings then its HAE.

The book sets up the sequel with Holly's sister Ginger and an enemies-to-lovers trope with her rival in a baking competition. Idk if I will continue the series as I never really got into this and the characters are too absurd for my liking.

This was…fine. It was over the top ridiculous, but maybe that’s your thing. I didn’t particularly feel any kind of connection between the MCs and the FMC drove me a bit batty. But it was a Christmas book filled with (a little too much) holiday goodness, so it was fine.

VERY quick read. Very Christmas centered.
Not a bad little story, will most likely dig into the next books in the series.
