if you only read one of bordain's, this is it. just so interesting and awesome. i re listened to parts of it with kumar in the car and didn't mind one bit. this makes me yearn for the foods of tokyo and france, and makes me know that I will never want to be inside a commercial kitchen.

Bourdain certainly has an unapologetic view of life and a culinary career. I enjoyed learning about his various experiences, but some of it seemed repetitive, with a focus on R-rated behavior in the kitchen and facts that diners may not want to know about restaurant practices.
