Juicy, messy, unhinged. I miss Bourdain so so much, and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get to his writing. I still have so many books to get through and that’s exciting, especially knowing that he aged like a fine wine.

This is an entertainingly foul mouthed account of life in the kitchen. There's a short passage on garlic that had my cheering and a few slightly unlikely sounding anecdotes but overall it's funny and his enthusiasm for food and its preparation is infectious.
