I don’t even have words for this book......

This was a cute book. However, the drama that happened all the way until the very end nearly did me in.

Also, reading this right after, "How to break up with your phone" was a bit timely. I kept thinking: this is why kids should not have smart phones. When are they studying? Why do they have all their notifications turned on? [Scenario in book regarding social media] is why so many teenagers are so depressed.

Liked it very much, a pitty it wasn't longer!

Uh-uh

I liked it but the ending was cheesy.

This book was fabulous! I have no idea why the overall rating is so low, because this was one of the cutest books I have read in a while! It was fun and full of fluff, everything a YA contemporary needs. I mean, a story that sounds like Alex from Target? Sign me up! ( Not to mention the boy is a lot cuter than Alex from Target)
The characters were my favorite part about the book. Rebecca was quirky and nerdy, and Kyle was sweet and a part of the jock crowd. They were both relatable, but especially Rebecca.
Rebecca is silly and has a weird sense of humor, which reminded me of myself. I love creative writing just like her, so it was interesting to see so much of myself in her character. We are pretty much twins.
Kyle was kind, funny, and a bit awkward, which I loved reading about. He was definitely crushworthy, and I'm honestly a bit jealous of Rebecca because Kyle sounds pretty awesome.
Their romance was sugary sweet. I loved the bits of subtle flirting, their friendship, and the bowling scene. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of communication at times, but that's pretty typical in YA so it didn't bother me too much.
Overall I highly recommend you pick of #famous, because it is a super fun, light read.
lighthearted medium-paced

Page turner.

The narration alternated between Rachel and Kyle's povs but whenever one narrated the other was as much of a mystery to me, as a reader, as he/she was to the narrator! Absolutely loved the book.

I loved it!!! :)

A easy and fun read, showing the repercussions of going ‘viral’ and the highs and lows of it all. The book was easy to get through but the whole plot felt very bland and very paint by numbers of viral superstars these days. Going on a talk show to discuss it all which I didn’t mind but would have liked something more added to the plot, the main characters were interesting to read from but the ‘side characters’ were so forgettable it was hard remembering who was who.
