Poison throne was a perfect conclusion to the Royals of Arbon Academy series. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster with this book and trying to figure out how the relationship would work and if choices would be made. I found myself so wrapped up in their relationship and wanted the perfect guy for violet. It was difficult to answer who that was because both guys were perfect for vi in completely different ways.
I loved that rafe and jordy were given the time to slowly become ok with the fact that they were both dating Violet. It held true to their possessive personalities that it took time for that to happen. I loved how much the characters evolved from the start of the series. Rafe seemed like he was just a jerk in book 1 but showed that he loves harder than anyone. His crazy alpha self was able to share vi because he loved her enough to know it was best for her. Jordy went from seemly a carefree, easy going guy, to showing his more serious, protective side as well. Vi has a huge heart and was loyal as heck. It turns out her past was even more messed up than even she knew yet she was still a strong, kind hearted person.
Tate and jaymin did a phenomenal job with this series and I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they decide to revisit it and tell Mattie and zachs story someday.

Oh my heart hurts. Jaymin and Tate did an amazing job concluding this series. It was perfect in my opinion. The message that we don’t have to conform to the norm of society speaks volumes. These two may just be my favorite writing duo. They know how to make the story come to life and in an amazing way. They have the best ideas and you can see and feel their compatibility in their writing.

Violet, Rafe, and Jordan were the best trio. The book picks off where playboy princes left. You learn how the three of them work separately trying to get their team back together and whole. It was heartwarming to see the guys protect Violet. Each in their own unique way. We saw them grow and come to terms with their feelings as opposed to just turning to violence. There was so much angst, sadness, happiness, and downright love shown throughout this book. The ending was perfect. I truly loved it. I really enjoyed how you had several ‘broken’ kids come together from different backgrounds who learned to have a friendship so intense that it turned to family. They have each other’s back through thick and thin and I love seeing two strong females who have each other’s back as well. This was such a tight knit group that I envied their togetherness. Violence, Fallen Angel, and Sushi I am going to miss you guys something fierce though.

3’s a Charm.

Vi, Jordan and Rafe escape the compound and return to a new normal. The aftermath of the massacre means they have to step into new roles. And Vi finally gets her chance to end her predatory Sensi. But it comes at a great personal cost. The end is wrapped in the white sandy shores.

Conclusion to the series. We see Violet, Rafe, and Jordan escape their captors, the monarchies find a solution to the turmoil with the resistance, and we see Uriel meet his end in a fitting, full circle way. Our love triangle find their happily ever after, in an unconventional way.

I loved the ending to this story. I think it was fitting for each of our characters. I enjoyed the trilogy as a whole.
