Sincerely, I was expecting more fights, more secrets, more villains. In resume, I was expecting more. Found this one quite boring and skimmed thought most of the ending. The big and bad society was just a bunch of idiots, the bad king of Australasia died and the romance was just meh.

But I still need a Mattie and Zach book

Things were coming out of nowhere. I still don't like the boys, mainly Rafe, because we don't get any personal stuff about them.

* Slight spoilers for book one and two *

The story came full arc in most aspects, however I felt like I was waiting or wanting so much more in this last book that I just did not get.

I feel like the romance aspect of the story got so detailed in this one. Between our two love interests, I felt so much more chemistry between Rafe and Violet. Jordan was sweet and loving, however I just didn’t feel the connection between them.

With our HEA, I was just hoping for a different ending so to say… I feel like there was a much stronger connection that should have been taken and it wasn’t. Overall, the book was definitely eventful and exciting to read however, I just felt the last book was a little flat compared to the first two.

Euh... bizarre ce troisième tome

The epilogue felt kind of forced and it would have just been better if they had left it out :/ Even the whole ending felt forced imo but idk

A fantastic ending to an amazing series. Wow. It did not end the way I was expecting, but I loved it just the same. Tate and Jaymin, you both seriously rock my socks off.

This is my second series by these authors.
I didn't like this one at all.
We have 3 books but it's like they don't belong in the same series.
In book 1, Violet has a boyfriend, she seems to like him even if she still thinks A LOT about the asshole who bullies her.
In book 2, the boyfriend turns abusive, she still is interested in the asshole and begins a relationship with him and another boy (the BFF of the asshole)
In book 3, the abusive first boyfriend completely disappears from the story except for 2 scenes. Violet is still in a relationship with the 2 other guys. Guys who don't like to share so their MFM is weird af. They sleep in the same bed but as soon as one of them gets horny, the other one leaves the room until the couple is finished. Seems healthy.

I don't know how these authors work together, if they write characters or parts of the books, but this series was choppy. Nothing made sense.

My eyes got stuck in the back of my head when the sensei bullshit began. Why?! Why put this ridiculous sub-plot in this. Why not focus on the resistance, on the monarchs and on the princess ballot. This Kill Bill "inspiration" plot was unnecessary and frankly, really badly done.

So many inconsistencies and plot holes. The characters just changed from one book to another.

Also not gonna lie, but Jordan was not necessary to the story. Violet had more chemistry with Nolan and he made more sense.

The end is bad too. Both male characters are the crown heirs of their country (New America and the Switzerlands so an ocean separates them), Violet ends up with no real home as she spends her time travelling the world and so, she sees her men once a month. Like how can this work on the long time? Both males will end kings of their country and their shared queen will have to jump from one kingdom to another all the time?!

I am so disappointed.
