It took me a while to get to it as I wanted to go back and read the others in the series. The good thing is that they can be read individually or out of order. Yes some of the characters are mentioned in all of the books and it does help to know their stories but it isn’t necessary for the story.
This one touches on hard topics, much like the first, but if you can get past that, its a very quick and active read. Yes I had an idea of who the killer was almost as soon as the person was introduced but it was still a pretty good and quick read.

Great ending to the trilogy
I read all three of these books in a week, I really liked the story. I did wish there was more on Eddison's sister, maybe an idea for another series?

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the second. This series is so criminal minds-coded from the cases to the character interactions. I’m glad I came back to the series and am excited to read the 4th.

this series is fantastic. i don’t think this one was as strong as the last one, but it definitely did not disappoint. this one really has an incredible understanding of childhood traumas as well as adoptive/foster child traumas. plus we got to learn more about mercedes so 10/10.

Another good addition to the series. I liked learning about Mercedes and getting to see actual children (not teens) in their work. This also made me love Vic even more. It was a very interesting premise to have all these bloody children delivered to Mercedes and having a vigilante-esque serial killer on the loose.
