This one is not on the same level as book 1 & 2 but still good. This one follows Agent Ramirez and a serial killer who is âsavingâ children being abused and then dropping the child with Agent Ramirez. Who is the abused child turned adult and why are they doing this?

i did not read the prior books first but this narrative gave me enough that I felt that was not a problem. I liked the narrator Mercedes. The storyline is graphic but not overdone. The connection between the agents seems a but unrealistic but works well for the story. Overall i found a quick enjoyable read.
I loved the character of Mercedes. I had not read the prior two books but will now. This is a tough storyline and the relationships between the FBI agents seem unbelievable but the story still works.
Still great, starting to get annoyed by Edison and all his women. We get it, he’s a good guy. Otherwise, loved the premise and the view into the killer’s origins.
