A mixed mag. A handful of these are quite lovely, but too many others aren’t even fully-formed thoughts. When she puts in the effort, I think she does a nice job. This project required a massive amount of vulnerability on her part, and I really appreciate that. I hope she continues to write in the future, whether she decides to share it publicly or not.

this poetry book deals with very hard topics as abusive relationships, struggles and loss of with self identity and miscarriages. (check tw). i cannot imagine how difficult it must've been for megan fox to relive it so she could bring this book to life and i can also appreciate that she felt the need to share her experience with others. however, the execution of it was very poorly. it fits in the "pinterest poetry" genre of short sliced phrases in order to give more intensity to the message. poems also contain a lot of modern slang and references to pop culture that if you aren't familiar with, you might not fully comprehend the book. wouldn't recommend. good intentions, very poorly executed.
