This was really good and I do not understand the low ratings. But I guess we all have our own opinions. I really hope Megan writes more. I would definitely read it.

Pleastly surprised.
I've been burned by books written by celebrities, but this one is deeper, real-er.
Love the artwork. Love the pacing. Love the absolutely savage comments and poem names. This will make you tense up, and then spit our you drink in a continuous enjoyable cycle.

Moderate: Domestic abuse
"you mistook me for a possession
when i was a nuclear weapon all along"
Rating: 3.5/5 ✰
Summary:
This definitely feels like reading Megan Fox's diary, which makes it a bit of a polarizing read since people seem to either love or hate her. While it's criticized for being written in that trendy poetry style similar to what's on tumblr or instagram, that being considered a flaw and not just a medium honestly seems a bit snobby to me. Don't get me wrong, I definitely don't think her writing is perfect - this is her first collection of poetry iirc- but she is still creating something relatable and meaningful.
She covers subjects like abuse, narcissism, fame, love, motherhood, miscarriages, spirituality, and more while surrounding her prose with stunning, mystical artworks by Audrey Kawasaki. This was an absolute delight for me, it perfectly captured the vibes of feminine sensuality, innocence, and mystery. If you like this poetry style, sensual art, Megan Fox, and/or can relate to the themes in the collection, then I'd recommend giving it a try.
Closing thoughts:
Women reclaiming their power will never get old for me ♡
also I got stalked today at b&n while getting this book so it's extra relatable to read today, yay! I love being a woman!!
"you'd be so much more handsome if you'd get an exorcism"
when i was a nuclear weapon all along"

Ya know, Megan Fox is a beautiful woman - like she is freaking gorgeous! A stunner! I'll give her that -
But that's precisely the point - people focus on her outer beauty - and she really probably hates that. However, she is smart enough to use it to her advantage and makes money out of it!
Babe - the world is your oyster. Have a little gratitude for what you have achieved. Most people can only dream of such success. You don't need no man beating you down OR to feel safe... mmmkay? Just buy a goddam gun or a samurai sword.
Idk what this was (*whispers* 'hot garbage')- but kudos to her!
One poem(???) was literally just:
"Passion: from Latin; to suffer"
Title: Veritas
Okaaaaaaay ... didn't know I was reading a dictionary?
