Megan Fox's debut poetry collection, "Pretty Boys Are Poisonous," is an electrifying ride through the highs and lows of love and heartbreak.

The title says it all—Fox dives into the seductive danger of romance and the toxic aftermath that often follows. Her poems are short but pack a punch, filled with vulnerability, strength, and a no-holds-barred honesty that's both relatable and refreshing.

Surprisingly beautiful. I didn't know what to expect because we all know every famous person considers themselves a "poet" these days. But I was hooked from the introduction with this one. Megan Fox once again proves she is far more intelligent than she is given credit for. Her work is lyrical and powerful. Maybe it's because I have a history of bad and abusive relationships, but so much of what she wrote resonated with me on a deep level. She really put her heart and soul into this book, and I appreciate the candor with which she writes. I can understand it not being everyone's cup of tea, but I am one of those that really needed this and I'm grateful she chose to share these poems. I genuinely hope she publishes more in the near future.

“You’ll never understand how painful it is to always have to wonder who I’m giving my heart to today”

What a heart wrenching experience reading her thoughts and raw emotions of the truth behind the scenes. Absolutely recommend. This is IT. I already know this will be my favorite read of this year and my favorite poetry book ever. 6/5 ⭐️

All empathy and goodness to Fox for what she’s suffered through. Writing these poems had to be salve, and I understand what it’s like to reclaim your own power, word by word, line by line. There’s a lot of raw anguish here and some razor sharp material, but it often gets bogged down in a lot of “IG caption” level filler. Half as long, twice as good and all that.

it was sooo raw. at some points i could feel my heart breaking for her. while i still struggle with analysing english poetry, i understand that she does an excellent job at being poetic yet on point. you could read her soul naked.
