Fallen in Love is the perfect addition to the Fallen series, and it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day! The novel consists of four short stories; all love stories featuring a few of our favorite characters from the series.

Love Where You Least Expect It: The Valentine of Shelby and Miles is the first short story in the novel. Shelby and Miles story was sweet and simple. I never really thought of them together when reading the previous books, but after reading this, I can definitely see them together. I really enjoyed getting to know both Shelby and Miles more in this short story, and I’m really hoping that we will get to see more of them in the next novel. They are such great characters.

Love Lessons: The Valentine of Roland is the second story in the novel. Roland’s story was just heartbreaking. This is totally not the story I was expecting for Roland; he’s always been a character that I enjoyed, and I was hoping for a happy story for him as well. But we all know that love does not always equal happiness.

Burning Love: The Valentine of Arriane is the third story in the novel. Arriane is another character that I have always really liked. In her story, we get to see a completely different type of relationship than what I expected. Very emotional and intense, this story is definitely one of forbidden love.

Endless Love: The Valentine of Daniel and Lucinda is the fourth and final story in the novel. I found this to be really sweet as well, although I do wish that Daniel and Lucinda had been together a little more through the story. However, the anticipation building up to where they finally meet was well worth it. Daniel and Lucinda’s relationships are always sweet to read about.

With the four short stories, and the quick pacing, this makes for a very fast read. I love getting the history for the characters that we still didn’t have a history for. It was really interesting getting to see the past for Arriane and Roland.

Overall, I thought this book was a good addition to the Fallen series. The stories were interesting, and I love the gorgeous cover for the book as well. It looks lovely displayed on my bookshelf!

I quite enjoyed this glimpse into other characters life and learning about what drives them. Of course, as it is a Valentine's day novel, the romance is very much on the forefront. As such, the action is lacking and the storyline stalls. If only for the romantic short stories, it is an enjoyable book.

So it wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that great either. The stories were mildly entertaining, and I liked how they linked together, but I wouldn't have died without reading this either. Also, I'm pretty sure it was one big anachronism after another, but hey.

Gives some interesting background on some of the players and makes you curious as to who will play what role in Rapture.

I never though this kind of genre would interest me but I got stuck to this book/series from the beginning! Anyone who is wonder if he/she would read this, please do as this is such an amazing series :)

Short love stories involving several characters from the series. All set on Valentine's Day.

Usually these 'add on' books are a blatant attempt by the author to make money. But this one seemed different; I loved reading about the supporting characters and one unique Valentines day that brought them all together. It was a fun read for those of us missing Luce and Daniel.

Utterly pointless to read.
Obviously just published to make more money - also once again copying what the Twilight saga did (Bree Tanner novella) but it really didn't work.
Firstly, when are you supposed to read this? In the middle of or after Passion? Because I think it would make sense to read this during Passion but then why not just have included it in Passion in the first place. I think reading it afterwards isn't essential - and only if you're a die hard fan (though is anyone really a die hard fan for this series) should you even consider buying this, because it's not worth buying.
There were only a few things that I enjoyed while reading this.
1. Miles and Shelby get together. - It was cute for a valentines theme but was longer than it needed to be.
2. A glimpse into Rolands world. - The rest of this tale was awful ( too long and depressing with no real meaning in the end)
3. Arriane and Tess's relationship. - I liked that the author included a relationship between two girls. It didn't feel forced, like she just put it in to look like she trying to be cool and attract more readers, etc. It actually made sense for the character Arriane. It gave more insight into who she is - which was good because she only pops up a few times in Fallen and Torment.
And that's all I liked.
The Luce and Daniel scene was boring. So overall, I would have been happier to not have read this. I would have preferred to have read about Lucia and Daniel in Italy - that tale sounded far more instructing than most of the other past lives Luce lived.

I READ THESE A LONG TIME AGO BUT THEY R SO GOOD
