Miles is a little promiscuous. Confessing your love for Luce one day they falling for and confessing his love for Shelby the next. They seems like insta-love to me. Originally, I shipped Roland and Arianne but their partners in here also made sense to be with them. It was a cute little novella for the series if you wanted more exposure to the side characters.

I read this after reading book 4 so I was definitely jarred by going back in the story. I DID find it super cute though to get to see some of the other characters get their own little moments.

Even though this is an extra between small book ergo #3.5 in the series I’m glad I read it in between 3-4

I thought that these short stories were a fun addition to this series!

I am really happy that Shelby and Miles have found each other. I was a little worried in book 2 when Miles had a crush on Luce because Miles seems like such a good kid and he deserves happiness and love. (I just don't think anyone is going to compete with Luce and Danielle in this series which is basically the whole point of this series...) (I am still intrigued by Cam tho...I can't help myself with these YA love triangles)!

Arriane and Tess's story was probably the hardest for me to read. It was so nice seeing an LBGTQ couple in a YA series BUT I can't imagine how much harder it is for this couple adding in the fact that they are on opposing sides. My heart broke for both girls during this short and I really hope they can figure out a way to make things work in the last book of the series but I know its probably not possible...They both have physical and emotional scars from this relationship for sure...

These were my two favorite stories from this collection. The other 2 stories were also fine but I just feel like since the whole series revolves around Luce and Daniel there really isn't much more I can say about their relationship at this point in the series.

3.4⭐️

I really loved the first book in the Fallen series, but the rest of the series has been progressively less enjoyable to read. Luce and Daniel's story in this book wasn't even interesting. It had the least amount of pages to their Valentine's story and was also the least entertaining. I wouldn't recommend this book because you would be wasting your time (this book is just redundant of the last book in the series).
