This one started out a little slower than the rest of the series. It wasn't until I was halfway through that I really got sucked in. Similar to the other Dani-focused book, I was wondering what was going on with Mac and Barrons most of the time. Unfortunately, there isn't much to go on as far as what they have been up to. I definitely was not expecting Dani's story to take this turn, but it fits her very well and is deserving.

I saw High Voltage in a bookstore and was instantly drawn to the cover. When I found out it was a series, I decided to give it a go. I’ve been on a fever marathon for a week. I don’t know what to do with myself, I’m all caught up! I am so glad this is a Dani book, I love her and Ryodan. Looking forward to the shenanigans these two will get into!

High Voltage

Anytime I read a book by this author I'm completely submerged into the world so much so that I'm sad when it's over. High Voltage was a whirlwind, a lot of messed up things happened but it was an amazing experience that I didn't want to end. I cannot wait to read the next book.

4.5 stars. that was the best one. wow. what

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I'm really happy Dani got her HEA ... but I seriously have a WTF just happened vibe going on right now.

I love Dani. I love Ryodan. They are the only reason I stuck with the series this long. Truthfully even though Mac has her moments, she gives me a cavity. I wasn’t disappointed. I devoured this book and now not want Moning to give me more kick-a55 Mega-watt characters in the future ;-).

Finally, Ryodan and Dani figured their shite out. But now I'm left wondering what comes next for the series. There is a huge Mac/Barron thread that is going to need to be finished. I guess I'll patiently wait.

I’ve been reading this series from the beginning and wow. I love the Fever world. I love the characters. But I didn’t love this. I didn’t hate it either so don’t @ me! It just left me feeling meh. I wanted more for Dani and Ryodan. It almost felt like this book was rushed to get finished and go to print. It’s still good, but not my favorite of the Fever series.

Of the series this one was my favorite! It not only tugged at but yanked at my heart strings with superhero strong characters that delighted me in a million ways.
