This book was utterly fantastic! So much happened, and it was just epic! Loved the developments, the new things that we learned, and I can't wait for more! So good!
I will say I liked this book far more than the first book from Dani.
But was a little annoyed Mac is completely missing from the story. And only one scene with Barron’s. But I loved seeing a different side of Ryodan. I only wish she would give scenes like that to Barron’s and Mac.

This one... Oh my gods... this one was my favorite! I love Dani! I love reading about her amazingly fierce personality. Then you throw in Dancer and Ryodan and my heart was in flames through the entire book. I will be hungover from this one for a long time...
I thought the Fever book series ended with book nine then I stumbled onto book ten! HIGH VOLTAGE by Karen Marie Moning. This is a wonderful fantasy series and would not be upset if it continues with even more books. This one ends nicely but there’s a few minor loose ends that makes me want to know the rest of the story.
This book follows Dani and gives more insight into her backstory as well as how she’ll handle her remarkable future. It also fills in some of the history surrounding the gods and the Fae.
I highly recommend this series if you like fantasy. There’s 10 books in the series (so far, anyway 🤞) and they’re great even if it’s your first foray into the fantasy genre.

Liked it... not my fave... felt a little like Moning violated some of her own rules (ie rules governing this world) in order to make things happen and keep certain characters alive.

I read this one slowly on purpose to savor it! Dani is my second favorite character (only behind Mac) and it was so fun to see her come into her own! No spoilers here! I do hope there will be more to the series; I need more Mac and Barrons in my life❤️
I love, love, love this series! An excellent addition. I just can't wait for these books to come out. I can't wait for the next one. EXCELLENT!
