This book shouldn't work and I think that's what makes it leave such an impression on me.

It continues to follow the brutal life of Jorg but it's structured brilliantly and Lawrence simply writes with so much momentum that it's hard to put the book down.

Again, brutal, horrible things happen in the book, so if the first book s ended too dark, this won't be better for you. But there's more magic and joyful was and feeling here.

But, yeah, really digging these books, though I feel like I should hate them. Which, by itself, is a pretty interesting feat. Will finish the trilogy soon.

I didn't expect to love and root for Jorg as much as I do by now.. amazing writing.

След като се запознах в първата книга с дръзкият, малък изрод Йорги, пред който много злодеи приличат на малкото пони - тук нещата седят вече една идея по намясто. Не мога да кажа, че Йорг е имал страшно израстване, но имаше все някакво. Най-малко твърдоглавата му кратуна се замисля вече преди да коли и беси (лъч надеждица).
Лудостта на младия и безотговорен крал започва да се трансформира в по-зряла лудост
