Gossiping and actions receiving known repercussions. Kind of meh but also somewhat recognizable characters/people.

If you're addicted SMU rush videos, you'll probably like this. I love hate-watching those pi kappa kappa gamma ramma sigma delta flaunt their identical Cartier love bangles and talk in the same listless uptalk, and Come and Get It scratched that itch for me. I was enthralled. I love the way Reid talks about money, class, race, sexuality, and power dynamics. It's so deft.

I promise the second half is much more redeeming

Meh. This is a 3.5, I think.

I love Kiley Reid’s writing, but I can’t figure out if we’re SUPPOSED to dislike the characters, or did she hope we’d feel sympathy for them?
