I love love Amor Towles...but in this book I kept waiting for the "ah ha"! moment I expect from him...but it didn't really come for me. Or maybe I just didn't like the ending. Regardless, I was disappointed.

I am not sure what I was expecting from you, but I got more than I was expecting. You were deep and drawn out, but not in a bad way. There was an epic feeling to your cross country tale, and I loved being able to see the story from so many different perspectives. I loved your shifting narrators that gave your story such nuance and depth. Your themes of family and forgiveness and growing up so relatable and palatable. I want to read more of Towels stories after reading you.
