An emotionally charged thriller / Suspense story that will keep you on the edge of your reading chair.
Two people bond by tragedy and pain. What a rollercoaster. Another genius book by two amazing authors. This book was absolutely enthralling, accelerating and mesmerizing ! So many emotions, so unexpected... I thought I had it figured out at 10%, but I was way off! Isaac and Everly meet while trapped with no way out. He doesn’t like people, she can’t stop talking. Their apparent proximity makes them form a bond while talking between a wall without ever seeing each other. They have a connection that they can’t even comprehend. When you think everything is making sense, there are twists and turns that have you questioning everything. Beautifully written, this book was fantastic! You will never be the same, nor you will be able to forget Isaac and Everly.
Make sure you start the book when you can finish it, you won’t be able to put it down. I ate this book up! Thank you Jennifer, Chelley and Valentine PR for letting me read it in advance! What a masterpiece!!!!

This book had me on a rollercoaster I never wanted to get off of. I was on my toes anxious the whole time waiting for all the twist and turns. It was riveting and captured my attention from the very beginning. My jaw was on the floor the whole time. Saying that this book is love is blind but make it a dark romantic suspense thriller is a perfect description for this. I didn’t really know exactly what to expect jumping into this book but straight devoured it. I don’t think I will ever be able to forget about these characters and this story.
Anything Jennifer writes, I’m going to read and will forever be an auto buy author for me. It is near impossible to read a book by her that doesn’t make you feel every single raw emotion. I was sobbing half way through it. She never ceases to amaze me with how well she can write something so tragic yet beautiful. I have not had the chance to read anything separately by Chelley but wow after gem, I’m running to go check out her back long. This was my first book of her but definitely not my last. Jennifer and Chelley together are straight fire! An absolutely fantastic, flawless duo and was everything I never knew I needed. I cannot wait to read more from them!

Wow. This book was a roller coaster ride. I marathoned this book over the weekend unintentionally. The writing was beautiful. Isaac’s snarky banter was great. Definitely dark, with some triggers for medical torture. Moderate spice eventually, maybe 🌶️🌶️🌶️. I had to keep reading because I didn’t know where it was going. Hardly any slow spots too, just a good read all the way through. I was wondering how it would go at the half way point, but I loved the swap over to the strip club. That VIP scene… 🥵 I also loved that both POVs had a different voice. Their dialogue and internal thoughts felt different and had a different flow, possibly the result of using 2 different writers. It was brilliant. 5 stars. I’m reading the other collaboration between these authors next, and I hope they write more!!!!
