First in a series based on the Seven Deadly Sins. This book is about gluttony, and is a hell of a lot funnier than my synopsis is making it seem.

Stephanie Plum set in Salem, MA. If you've read the "between the numbers" books, you'll recognize Diesel, our main man in this series. What's not to love? Clueless heroine, sexy good and bad guys, offbeat animals, cooky sidekicks, laugh out loud moments . . . It was a pleasure to read!
Fun quick read. Reminds me of the earlier Stephanie Plum books (I've somewhat soured on that series as it has gotten repetitive/old hat with the love triangle thing). This was a very quick read. On to number two in the series!
It was okay. Not as sexy as I had hoped, and the characters were a little TOO quirky without any explanation as to why. Could have been better, but I'm going to try to second one before I quit the series.
I could give this book two stars to be nice. I did finish it, after all. But, no. It was too stupid and I am sick of Evanovich. No more. This book is like Plum-lite, but not as good and not as funny. It's just stupid. I didn't care about any of the characters. They have no personality beyond being rip-offs from the Plum series. The paranormal stuff was not interesting at all. Really, it's time for Evanovich to retire. She's made plenty of money. Can't she just live off investments and call it good? I made the mistake of visiting her website while I was reading this. Her kids and husband are all working for her business, you know, selling Rangeman t-shirts and making cutesy websites. It kind of makes me want to puke. So, this is the end of the line for me. It was fun at the beginning. If I'm ever tempted to read anything by Evanovich again, I'll just re-read an early Plum book and call it good.
This was a really cute book, I laughed out loud several times and I really liked the quirky characters. The plot is interesting too, and I think it will only get better as the series progresses.
I really liked it! I can't wait for the next one...which isn't due out for another year!!!! Too long to wait....
