Pretty good. Rather short. Like the humor Evanovich usually brings to her work. Since I listened to the audiobook, I had one issue - the narrators voice irritated me sooooooo much! Then I realized, she does the voice on a cartoon my 2 yr old watches! It was hard to get past that. Next time I will just read the book.

(Audio book) WTF did I just listen to? This book was absolutely ridiculous.
At one point there is a frickin monkey strapped into a booster seat in the backseat of a Porsche Cayenne and he's spraying goddamn Easy Cheeze everywhere like it's a weapon.
And this is the first book in a series? Oh, hell no. Just no.

This was a fast read but I felt it ended abruptly and left you hanging to wonder what happens next.
A new series from Evanovitch. Set on Boston's North Shore, which automatically makes it more interesting than Trenton to me. I like seeing more of Diesel; not so sure I'm interested in the heroine, Lizzy. And the monkey really has to go.
The book didn't really keep my interest and I returned it to the library early since I borrowed the audio book.

Short Review: Since I really like the Stephanie Plum series, figured i'd try another series by the same author. I felt like it kinda had the same plot in a way. Also i hope this is the same Diesel that shows up later in the Plum series. I kinda didn't understand what was going on, someone died and they willed some charms to their family members and those charms are needed for something important. My favorite thing was probably the monkey! Especially when they went grocery shopping! You're baby is hairy!! Haha. :D
Misc.
Book Boyfriend: Diesel!
Best Friend Material: Lizzy!
