The way I DOVE into this book and didn't look back. From page 1 to 748 l was completely immersed.
This story takes us on a journey through both Delphine and Tyler's childhoods, young adulthood to adults. We get so much more knowledge of their separate trauma and what ultimately makes them who they are.
It's such a complex story, that has so much depth and beauty. I wish I could come up with the proper words to depict just how much my heart warmed and ached while reading this.
To finally be able to understand the ways of Delphine, and to get Tyler's perspective on both his personal life and the parts of the story we've already known was incredible. This book was perfect and I'm so glad I read it.. and somehow only cried once.

I went into this book thinking I will always be a Sean and Dom girl till the end....and then walking in Tyler Jennings.
He's literally the perfect man, best friend, brother and everything.
His and Delphine's story is heartbreaking which I knew going in but omg I don't think I've ever cried so hard in my life.
Be warned you will feel all the emotions in this book...and they will all be worth it.

This was a story I didn't know I needed until I read Delphine and Tyler's story. This is not a love story as we know what happens to Delphine. I love seeing the past on how Tyler met Dom and Tobias and how their friendship blossomed.
Tyler and Delphine's romantic relationship did not start until he was an adult but there is a scene that gave me the icks when she notices him when he was 17. This could be that I have a child at that age and it would make me sick to see an adult look at my son that way.
The relationship Delphine and Tyler has in his younger days were tender and I can see how an impressionable kid would start falling for her. I just have a lot of issues with this dynamic.
Reading about Delphine's past, she has been through so much trauma and never had the chance to heal. She was addicted to the bottle and it was good to see her growth journey.
Tyler is so much wiser than his years and his devotion to Delphine when they reconnect.
This story is a bit long and there's parts of the story that we have already seen in the Ravenhood series.
Even knowing what happens to Delphine, I cried when the time came.
The narration by Grayson Owens, Leila Allarie was chef kiss.
