So sad. But awesome...

A perfect conclusion to an exceptional trilogy. Highly recommend. Aimee Carter is without a doubt an auto-buy author for me.

So, this was one big disappointment..

I couldn;t relate to Kate in this novel on multiple levels. In the first two books, I could relate to her. What she was experiencing, how she was reacting to it, I understood her. But in this book, it was different.
SpoilerEverything was always about her son, and I don't have a kid, so it is harder to relate to that. Also, it was striking how James pointed it out: she has a martyr complex and I couldn't relate to those thoughts at all. She was so stupid all the time!

A lot of people were like wow what an ending of this story, of these series, but it felt more meh to me. It wasn't very satisfying. I'm experiencing a book hangover right now, but not the good one..

OMG!! I did not expect that coming! Ava was my favorite character and I'm really pissed with what [a:Aimee Carter|767317|Aimee Carter|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1290233298p2/767317.jpg] did to her at the end(Trying not to give away anything to those who haven't yet read the book!)... Less romance, which I didn't like... a very confused Kate... Lots of Family Drama... Overall an ok book, a good end to the series.. but I liked [b:The Goddess Test|17152270|The Goddess Test|Aimee Carter|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1356057726s/17152270.jpg|14569146] and [b:Goddess Interrupted|17397304|Goddess Interrupted|Aimee Carter|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1362160593s/17397304.jpg|15011943] SOOOO much better!

Me gustó pero en unos capítulos Kate, nuestra protagonista, me desesperaba un poco.

because i cried

And here I thought the series was getting better with the um....nicer 2nd book with an cliff hanger that put me in suspense.
After reading the whole book, I just hate Kate more and more. I know she likes to sacrifice herself to save her love ones, but she never thinks about the consequences, so most of her so-call sacrifice ended up in tragedy.

Did anybody notice there's this phrase that sound REALLY familiar?
It goes like this,
"You are my life."..............."There is nothing I would not do to mak you happy. Before I met you, my world was a string of days that were gray and empty. I had nothing to look forward to, and I cannot tell you what it was like, facing down eternity alone. Everyday I wished for you. Everyday I held on in hopes that eventually we could meet. And when I finally found you..."
It's a phrase said by Henry to Kate. This phrase sounded like a phrase from Twilight don't you think?

Spoiler And finally, the part where I can't comprehend, is the part where Ava/Aphrodite died. I mean.....a goddess dies? Ok....I'm fine with it when I thought there will be a miracle where she'll come back from the dead or something. But then Walter/Zeus said it is time to scour for a person to replace her and also Hera's place. How can a goddess place be replace just by having mortal taking a bunch of tests...? Gah.........never mind....I forgot the fact that anything can happen in this book.

Let's just say, if you take myths seriously and you like the myths....don't read this series. This series kinda mess up the "traditional" myths.....

3.5*

This series started off okay for me, then Goddess Interrupted picked it up, and this final one was the best of both worlds! Great ending to an awesome series!! Full review to come :)

I was really unhappy with this book. For one, I hate the name Milo. I found Kate's narrative to be dull, the relationships repetitive and forced, and the ending to be underwhelming.
