I liked it, it works well as a bridge between the first and second novels, showing some details of life at the university: Binti's PTSD, bullying, her making friends, etc.
  I enjoyed it.

Such a sweet, short story that tackles some of Binti’s trauma from the previous installment and really just lets her make friends. It kind of feels weird as a separate story, but it would’ve been awkward to add it to Binti.

It was okay. It was better than binti: night masquerade. I was like who the heck is the bear and I got my answer. It was really interesting to find out like the trauma that binti had and her trying to open the edan with “mind force” not like mind-bending. She got bullied
