A great piece of literature. However, it's one of the few books where I prefer the film over the written version.
The main characters were all quite interesting and I could easily identify myself with the protagonist, Todd.
Still, I would have liked to know more about the other characters (perhaps then I wouldn't have been so confused about who's who, haha).
The frequent switch of perspective left me confused as well, but I grew to like it after a while. Another thing I really liked about the novel was its main message: That you should live and not only exist, and that you should seize the day.

While "Dead Poets Society" was a rather short read, it was definitely impactful and the film is now one of my favourites.

Alltså, denna bok var inte dålig. Det var egentligen inget fel på handlingen.
Men
Problemet är hur den är skriven.
Om jag har förstått det rätt så är denna bok skriven efter filmen, inte tvärt om som det brukar vara. Man får alltså inte alls samma upplevelse som när man läser en vanlig bok. Istället så känns det nästan som när man läser ett manus. Man lär inte alls känna karaktärerna, varje scen är väldigt påskyndad och inte alls utförligt beskriven.
Därför så fastande jag verkligen inte alls för boken, jag har läst den påväg till och från skolan nu i Berlin. Men hade jag inte varit väldigt uttråkad så hade jag aldrig lyckats lösa färdigt denna.
Alltså rekommenderar jag inte alls denna bok. Vill ni uppleva handlingen så är det nog bättre att kolla på filmen. Det är det som jag ska göra nu.
