The start to one of my favorite series. Don't let the cover fool you, it is 80% action packed... of course the other 20% is hot hot Rogan scowling. Really love the idea of the world as it is in the book, fresh take on magic users.  And if you don't laugh with and absolutely fall in love with the Baylor family by the end of this book...well there's several more in the series to change your dead cold heart.

The magic system!!!! I loved the fmc! Magic system/world gives me CC vibes but in Houston Tx. Excellent fantasy read with light romance elements.
