Ah this was a fun read! Aileen and Claude are a blast to watch. Also Claude's lackeys are hilarious. I'm pretty intrigued in the story. The concept is super fun, and a good Isekai plot. Aileen realizes she's the villainess in a dating sim she played in a previous life. I think it's way more interesting that "shut in dies and goes to generic fantasy land". There's definitely a few flaws that bugged me during my read. But it was still enjoyable!
The art is really good I think. THERES BACKGROUNDS THANK YOU! You can tell what's going on very easy, characters are expressive, and the panels are nice to look at. And Aileen's character design is pretty strong, Claude's idk he's got too much going on and it's not working for me haha. Also the artist is really good with drawing animals and food woah. The animals all look so cute.
Again I think this is intriguing story wise, despite dragging a bit towards the end. But I'll talk about that later. I just had a fun time with this silly little story. And you really do want to root for Aileen by the end of the volume. A time limit is introduced so you got a "Oh shit!" feeling going on. Real sense of tension and intrigue. Also usually I don't like slow burn romance but here it's well done. The narrative doesn't force them to get together immediately for the plot. And the romance again very cute haha. And sorry I LOVE HIS HENCHMEN they're so goofy. There's a good mix of "this is a stupid silly story" and also a compotent story. There's world building established and such, that's not just a thrown together romcom. Sorry my romcoms need tomes of worldbuiling jk JK.
Alright nitpicks. I think it bothered me how the romance wasn't going anywhere and Aileen refused to tell Claude why she wanted to marry him and then was surprised why she rejected him. Also she tried to lace his food uhhh... it didn't work thankfully but it did make me kinda ick. Beside's that by the halfway mark I liked the romance I wanted to see them together. Like the carriage scene yessir beautiful.
I'm not going to lie I think the last chapter kind dragged. I don't really like the sudden we need torepair the demon castle plot, political stuff, economy... wha... idk it's like I'm not really interested in that. I want the romance and the trying to avoid the bad ending plot, but idk why they have to go in this weird direction like it's a light hearted comedy? manga we don't need to do this lol.
Also the antagonists (well technically heroes) I think they're really bland. Cedric is just kinda the ex character. Lilia is the standard good girl anime protagonist, and pretty predictable like YOU know that girl is hiding something hah.
This volume is a lot of set up. I mean as early as the first chapter we learn that this is an Isekai story and are infodumped on. I think there's a lot holding this back from being 4-5 stars. I think the wrting can be a bit janky. I do like this world and the cast so I will be finishing the series. Espeically since it's only 4 volumes. I think this a series that you need to actually read the whole thing to enjoy it. I'm assuming things will pick up in the next volume! Fingers crossed.

I really like this manga it reminded me of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!,
Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter, The Dragon's Bride and and The Fiance of the Wizard. This Isekai is about a girl suck in a game then who get dump by her fiance who then she starts her plan to date/marry his older brother (the demon king) so she can not die. Through its short and I read all three volumes in one sitting its really good so if you like the over books you might as well like this.

This was so cute!! I loved Aileen and her turning things around. I was intrigued by the "heroine" and wish we had a little more detail about her character, but I love that Aileen really took over as the heroine and captured her man! And speaking of Claude... HE'S SO CUTE! I loved him! I wish there was a kiss tho. But a very good and short series!
