Unfortunately , I have wachted the tv show first. :(
I think it wasn't a very good idea to read this book after waching the show. I love this fantastic story very much but I was hoping there will be some changes, difirences beteween book and a tv show, but there wasn't any so far , so becouse of that I didn't finish the book.

We should tell fantasy authors that they don’t have to describe every piece of clothing and meal in detail. Also I finished a 34 hr audiobook in 3 days, so that’s interesting

Update on re-read: I enjoyed this even more the second time around. It's amazing how many things I picked up on that I missed the first time. I'm looking forward both to re-reading the rest of the series as well as [b:A Dance with Dragons|2782553|A Dance with Dragons|George R.R. Elaborate and epic, as most fantasy books are, the thing I like best about these is his character development. A cut above most things of the sort.
