This book was everything I never knew I needed. It was sad, beautiful and fulfilling all in one.

I went into this very skeptical about a romance between two ghost/phantoms but I’m so glad I was proven wrong. This was beautifully written and such an amazing world K M Moronova created who could’ve thought you can fall in love after death. In book 1 it irked me that Lanston didn’t get his happy ending or a semblance of a happy ending I’m so glad he finally did even if it was tragic he found his person who made him see the light. At first I was fed up with Opelia like dam girl just give into him, it was a very slow pace to my liking when they finally had some breakthrough in their relationship. Will definitely be grabbing a physical book at add to my collection.

"Until the stars die. Until the ocean dries."

Lanston and Ophelia are cut from the same cloth, the fabric of their souls threaded together destined to find each other. Butterfly and Moth. Light and Dark. Both lost and searching. Both yearning to be seen, accepted, and loved. They were fated to find each other. Heal each other.

There's this dread I felt in the beginning. Dread and sadness for all the things that were lost, for everything that was taken from Lanston and everyone else there with him. But KM has a way of threading light into the darkness of her words. I found solace in the fact they all had each other in the After. Still looking after one another.

I will never get over these characters. The pain and the loss, I mourn for them and with them. KM has such a way with her words. Knows how to tug at those strings and bring every bit of raw emotion out of you. She will shatter your heart but always in the most beautiful way.

This story will forever live with me. I am so happy KM gave our dear Lanston the HEA he so dearly deserved.

"Ghosts are sadness and regret. Our hearts bleed as much as the living."

I had the amazing pleasure of reading this early and I can’t wait for it to be released so I can talk about this with someone.
This tore through me more than Fabric of our Souls and I just need a good cry now.

This was so beautiful and tragic. I couldn’t put it down, and even when I had to, it still consumed my thoughts.

4.25 ⭐️’s - This was such a beautiful story about discovering your worthiness of love and acceptance despite feeling innately “broken” or “wired wrong”, in a dark paranormal setting.
I was so happy to read more of Lanston’s story! He was my favorite character in “Fabric of Our Souls” and this story gives us some much needed closure.
While this was beautifully written, it does read a bit slower and have less of a plot than the first book. Still an absolute must read though!

I definitely didn't enjoy this one as much as The Fabric of Our Souls. The main mmc was a favorite from that book, but I found the fmc to be not that likeable honestly.

sigh

This book didn’t break my heart as much as The Fabric of Our Souls, but my gods it definitely reopened some of the wounds. Ophelia and Lanston were truly made for each other. The simple banter, the struggles they both had, the emotional factor of not realizing how much they need each other… man. Definitely need more of this emotional love. Please don’t ever stop writing.

This is a beautiful yet tragic story of two ghosts who go on a journey together to find peace. The way they both hurt and find a way to heal together is beyond beautiful. Loved the epilogue it was everything we needed to end this story!
