Wow

Let me just say I’m so sad that dis trilogy of the Dukes and their lady or should I say the kings and their queen is now over. It was definitely one of the darkest books I’ve read one of the darkest series I read. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. There’s things I learned in a sexual sense that I had no idea before this. This series by far is my favorite that I’ve read till today. I can say that I’ve enjoyed every book that I read this year but this is definitely the series that I fell in love with. They went through so much to get to where they got at the end and it was beautiful. Story is one of the strongest female main characters that I have read within the last year. She went through so many things, betrayal by family betrayal by people close to her. She was threatened tormented and so many things and she continued on. This story may not have started out perfectly. The boys definitely need to grow up and become men. They had a lot a lot of redeeming to do and at the end of the story I can tell you that they have fully redeemed themselves. They love their queen more than anything in this world and the trials it took to get them there let’s just say you’ll probably cry I did. But you also laugh at Dimitri silliness, Tristan‘s charm and seriousness sometimes, and most definitely Killians overprotectiveness and his possessive need for his woman. For their woman. Three of them may not have deserved her in the beginning, but they definitely do now. I highly recommend the series. But I will say please read the trigger warnings before you do in case they’re not free. All the stars. This book is more than just 10 out of 10. It’s 1,000,005 out of 10. I can’t wait to start the Dukes. But I hope we get to see where these four end up years from now as well.

THIS SERIES IS JUST PERFECTION

Honestly, I procrastinated reading this book for two reasons: 1) I didn’t want the series to end and 2) I found Killian, Tristan, and Wrath so whiny at the beginning (Story was never whiny after everything she was put through). So it took a bit to push through.

But damn, am I glad I did. Knowing that Dukes of Ruin was already published allowed me to pick up on the breadcrumbs of Lavina and Nick which I totally loved.

But the best part of this story was hands down the ending. I did NOT see the identify of Ted coming! Or the accomplice! I thought Story did a phenomenal job at the end truly demonstrating that she truly is the Lady and her loyalty is completely to her Lords. It was great to see the dedication they all truly now have for each other.

However, I did find the ending a little drawn out. I felt the months and months of Story’s pregnancy, purchasing their house, and Killian’s establishment as a King was just a lot of plot that was jammed into a relatively small amount of real estate in the book.

But overall, this was an epic conclusion to the Lords of Forsyth and I am excited for their cameo appearances in Dukes.

screaming crying and throwing up why is this series so good

This is a gripping and intense read that will captivate fans of dark, reverse harem romance, particularly those who enjoy complex, slow-burn relationships, and themes of trust, loyalty, and the power of love to heal emotional wounds.

I still don't like Story as a heroine, but there are some funny and sweet moments in this third book that warranted 1 more star on my rating.

I also think Story's mother deserved better...

She was just a woman with BIG dreams, and I support her. I wish she had gotten away with her crimes. God knows all these other assholes have gotten away with much worse...

ok finally i finished this. i liked it a lot, maybe a little more than i though i would. regardless, i liked a lot of aspects of this book. for example, i rlly felt like everyone had their own voice, the characters rlly came into their own, and some parts even had me chuckling

I was really looking forward to finishing this series! Whilst I struggled around 20% - 70% to actually read it (kind of felt filler-y) it was good to see the Lords and their Lady finally have a HEA.

Daniel dying really surprised me so early in this book, not only that but Story’s mum being behind the whole thing and Ted was madness and didn’t expect it whatsoever!

I did feel that the pregnancy trope was a bit off kilter for them, but the way the Lords were with it was very fitting to their character.

Overall, nice finish to the trilogy but not as good as the first two books!

I loved it. I thought it was a great end and I liked the twists and I just thought it was great. It was a good series to get me back into reading and I just haven’t read a book like that in a while.

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this story. I loved seeing where they started and how their relationships changed. I also love how different all of the guys are and how they make that work.
