Would be a higher rating but the
pregnancy trope rears its head at the end. If this was the first book, I would have DNFd, but since I was in the final 100 page, I pushed through.

Love the development of the characters and the changes that they all make. Story is a badass FMC.

I enjoyed this series, but I think this book burned me out. I started to realize really quickly in this one that I felt like the characters were continuing to stay stagnant rather than moving forward. I'll explain...

I didn't agree with what Story did at the beginning with Killian, Dimitri, and Tristian. I felt like she was just being dramatic. Don't get me wrong, I realize she felt wronged. But she did some awful stuff back at them as well. So I kinda feel like they were even and it just dragged on. Way too long if you ask me.

I was a little shocked at who Ted was. I didn't see that coming but the aftermath of this really made me roll my eyes. Story has become this Lady, Queen who protects her men. But then we decide to not kill 'Ted'. Yeah no that didn't work for me. Ted was trying to kill her men and openly admitted everything they did to try to make it happen and they don't deserve death??? It doesn't fit the dark bully aspect of this book. And especially after everything they had all been through. Nope, death was completely warranted.

Overall, it was a good book. I loved how the last several chapters were several years in the future. But I'm still going to nit-pick and say that we needed an epilogue to give us a glimpse into more of the future.

obsessed with these books!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these books. They were absolutely amazing! I love a good RH stepbrother romance. 3 alpha holes who make you fall in love with them and their love for Story! Would definitely recommend these!

4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a nice final instalment in the Lords series. I know there are other Forsyth University books but they will follow other frats. It was dark and interesting and ties up all the lose ends. I didn’t love the accidental pregnancy trope towards the end but did like that there were flash forwards. Glad to see a good final book for this series.
