It's an absolutely amazing book. The author has created several alien species who have varying degrees of technological advancement. Between the tines (my favorite species), humans, skroderiders, and the omnipotent Powers a gripping story brews - bringing them all together.
I'm knocking off 1 star because this is a really long read (600+ pages). I feel like it could have easily trimmed down to ~400ish.

Overall good. Mind blowing at times but sometimes a pain in the a$s to get through. The space side of the story was fantastic. But what made it stale was the tines world parts. While the story was good, I really can't take long necked smart dogs that can talk seriously. The ending was cool. Though I really did not understand it. I would have to re read it one day.
