So I finished listening to this book and when I tell you it had me cracking up out loud!!!! The characters are lovable and a lot of it is relatable. It’s spicy, romantic and full of crazy chaos but a very fun read. Rayna kept me cracking up and Demon Boy matched her energy. For a first time read by her I really enjoyed it.

This book is a hilarious and steamy masterpiece, earning a solid 5 stars! It features a demon, Metice, who captures the reader with his humor and charm. Rayna, after a disastrous date, accidentally summons Metice while attempting a spell. Their journey to break their bond is filled with laughter and unexpected twists. While more background on Rayna's ancestors would have been appreciated, this book is a top monthly pick and a favorite in monster romance! Jessica's writing shines throughout.

I went into reading this book thinking it would be a cute paranormal romance. I didn't expect for it to make me laugh multiple times a chapter, absolutely swoon from the mmc's devotion, and include some badass action scenes. Very heavy on the smut, which isn't necessarily a bad thing when it's written this well. Also, I will always love when a pet is introduced, especially one from another world. Highly recommend this if you need a laugh, to raise your romantic standards, or just have a good time reading a book. If the third book wasn't chronologically next, I'd immediately start the second, but alas, it won't be out for a few months. I have no doubt it'll be worth the wait.

This book was fun, cringey, and fast paced. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. It was entertaining and it helped me get through a road trip. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it was a fun time if you can get past the writing style 🤷🏻♀️

This was a fun premise, and Jessica Cage wrote her FMC with such a unique voice! The story takes you on a bit of a rollercoaster and the ending left me wanting more depth in the character arcs, but it was still an enjoyable read!
