I wanted to like this book. I was interested in another monster-summoning romance series but I am just happy I borrowed this book from the library instead of buying it first. This book will go in my Eye-rolling book tag as a reminder of how much this story and characters annoyed me and pissed me off.
Immediately, I disliked Rayna's character and was sticking around for the outcome of the story but things never picked up.

It was cute and cozy read! I liked it. Metice is definitely going on the list of one my book boyfriends. I had some laughs and it was good time. The ending went by really fast but it was sweet.

fmc is childish and weird, all that huffing and puffing and screaming when this man has saved your life 2 times. obviously you’re not surviving without him so let’s try and sit and have a proper convo. at some point she says something along the lines of “i miss our banter” and i genuinely did not realize they were bantering at any point before that

This book had me cracking up!!! From the booty juice to the banter between Rayna and Metice. They were on Demon 😈 Time through the book.
