This was such a cute monster romance read. This was a highly anticipated read for me and it delivered exactly what I was expecting.

I loved the humour in this, the MMC is so adorably broody and very much in denial of his feelings, as is the FMC. I think a lot of readers/lovers of monster romance can relate to wanting to summon a monster book boyfriend and luckily for this FMC her last ditch attempt at reciting a summoning spell from her current romance read to give her a perfect man (or demon) for her proved fruitful, after many failed dates and attempts at finding love.

All of the sudden, a confused a brooding demon is in her bedroom and she’s had a couple glasses of wine.. she thinks she’s dreaming and he doesn’t understand why he’s there but is going with the flow and matching her energy as she had summoned him, so technically he has to whether he wants to or not, and they have a very fun, spicy evening. She wakes up and to her surprise, her beautiful demon lover in her dreams is still there in her bed.. literal dream come true and their story starts from there and does not let up!

Highly recommend this adorable read, I will definitely be reading the second book!

I liked this book but I felt like it could be shorter. By the middle of the book I lost interest and just anted it to be over with. It is a cute rom-com. But at times it felt like it was all over the place.
