Rayna was so over men…until she met with the demon with a rotating d!ck…LOL. Oh and the amount laughing I did when introduced to booty juice Im sure was not healthy…omg!

I've read other works by this author. And this is kind of the same. The idea/story is fantastic. The writing and the characters are juvenile.  The dialogue between these adults, some centuries-old adults, had me rolling my eyes so hard. 

For Reina to be close to 40, she was immature and combative. 

And she had bad friends. Eww.

Also, the narrators voice just didn't flow well. I felt like is was being read to instead of characters being portrayed. 

I really wanted to love this because the story was really good. It just needs to be polished.

I Accidentally Summoned A Demon Boyfriend by Jessica Cage had me laughing out loud from start to finish. The humor was spot-on, the banter was deliciously chaotic, and the situations were so ridiculous in the best way possible. Tempest Mensah brought the story to life perfectly as the narrator—her delivery hit every comedic beat and gave each character their own distinct personality. It honestly felt like listening to a sitcom where magic, sass, and demon drama collide.

I’m already hooked on this world and can’t wait to dive further into the series. The pacing kept me entertained the whole way through, and the mix of romance, magic, and pure shenanigans was exactly the kind of fun I needed. If you’re in the mood for something lighthearted, laugh-out-loud funny, and just a little spicy in the supernatural department, this is the perfect pick. Jessica Cage, you’ve officially gained another obsessed reader.
