Sweet, short, beautiful, and powerful. How memories work, especially memories of childhood. Kids world vs adult world. The magical aspects in this are absolutely fascinating and I truly loved every second of it!

I listened to this one on audible narrated by Neil, omg best decision ever.
I loved it and i cried a lot with the last chapter. Amazing.

This book came to me as a band aid for a loss I forgot about as a grown up. The raw feelings and visions of a child who truly experiences everything so vividly flourished within a reality that surpasses what can objectively be seen.

This was one of those books that just makes you ponder about life, such a refreshing read. It was quirky, it was sad, it was heartwarming. There’s so much room for interpretation & I love Gaiman’s writing style. The audiobook (narrated by him) was

It was whatever

DAMNNNNNNNN this book is good. I’ve never read a book that captures childhood wonder and fear like this. It’s magical and shit

Outstanding, compulsive, rich, unsettling, juggernaut of a story by a writer at the top of his game. Fantasy is not my favourite genre, but in Gaiman's hands it sings.
