A must-read Pulitzer Prize winner. But made me frustrated that so little has changed and yet so empowered that so much has changed.

Great narration. Held my attention considering it is a hefty biography. Contains a reasonably balanced account of MLK jr, and doesn’t shy away from the controversy revealed in the most recent unsealed FBI files on MLK.
I think taken at face value, King’s life can speak to us today about civil disobedience, the ongoing fight against racism, and issues of human rights. This book essentially brings King back to life, and perhaps today we are even seeing the reality of what King warned if the seeds of racism, inequality, white supremacy, and  injustice were not thrown away!
