I love Kane and daisy ๐ฅบI love me a brothers best friend trope and this didnโt disappoint!! They may had a complicated past but Kane grew on me I love how grumpy,possessive and sweet Kane is towards daisy๐ฅบ he was down bad for her and I donโt blame him!! Daisy is such a sweetheart she is kind and very strong! I also wanna say the lupus representation was so well done!!! And lastly I wanna say I canโt wait for the next book because those little sneak peeks omg I canโt wait ๐คญ๐ค

Until they see each other on the elevator of their building. These two have so much sexual tension that you could cut it with a knife.
From being able to relate to Daisy when it comes to health issues to understanding Kanes loyalty for family. Just like the others these two had me in a chokehold from page 1. To say that I was sad when the book was over is an understatement. I absolutely love these two and cannot wait for Malaki and Reeseโs book.

I donโt know what SJ has been putting into this series, but I am eating it up!
Daisy Sullivan didnโt know she was setting herself up for failure when she moved in with her brother, but thatโs because she wasnโt aware Kane Barlow was her new neighbor. Theyโd grown up as friends and had a moment before he took off to the pros, but that all crumbled faster than a house of cards.
And oh, the pining. The years apart did nothing to dampen the electricity buzzing between these two. I love how even as theyโre trying to drive the other crazy, thereโs always that underlying layer of concern and care. Thatโs only heightened by the fact that Daisy has been diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease. Sheโs working to manage her symptoms, but thereโs nothing slowing down her wit and sass. Kane gets so protective and possessive, and I am here for it! The banter, the tension, the longingโฆitโs all there. Not to mention they make ample use of the hockey arena forโฆthings. To quote SJ โtheir slow burn is BURNING,โ and it is so very worth it.

Well, it's safe to say that I am completely obsessed with this series and S.J. did it again with leaving me wanting more and more! This story right from the beginning I was pulling my heart strings, and I could definitely see eye to eye with the FMC a lot through this entire story as I personally suffer with an autoimmune disease and went undiagnosed for seven years.
Kane Barlow is a pro hockey heartthrob that's always had his eyes on his best friend's little sister Daisy. It's safe to say feelings are mutual and in the past these two did have a minor fling. Daisy has a lot going on in her life, which makes her need to move in with her older brother and she end up getting a job on his team being the mascot, which a certain someone helped her get! Sparks definitely fly between Daisy and Kane and they can't stay away from each other. Daisy hasn't really told anyone about her health issues, but they will soon come to light and the connection between her and Kane will just get closer and closer it honestly kind of reminds me of my husband and I๐ซถโค๏ธ
If you haven't read the Blue Devil series, I definitely suggest you do. I'm absolutely obsessed with the series and 10 out of 10 recommend.

We finally get problem child Kaneโs story and there is so much more to this playboy and his broken heart. If you read the first two books you know all about Kane but we finally met the girl behind Kane, his best friendโs sister Daisy. After breaking Kaneโs heart 6 years prior she has moved in with her brother for help with her current health issues. Little does she know Kane is now her neighbor and he is still holding a grudge which leads to him getting her a job as the new mascot which backfires pretty quickly.
These two have no problem with the back and forth , pranks and true hate to lovers but once they finally give in you see just how perfect they are for each other.
This is a slow burn to straight heat moments to make you laugh, gasp and want to cry. Very excited for Malakiโs story another winner in Devils Hockey Series.
