Listened to this on audiobook. Knowing it was an older (30 years old!!!) Charlaine Harris, I expected this to be cheesy, and I was right. But still enjoyable.

A quick read that ticks all the boxes for a mystery/ cozy mystery. I liked that the character was a younger librarian, albeit a little boring, but I have come to enjoy the small town settings and characters prevalent in Harris' books. I think it adds to the mystery as it is exciting to read about a suspected killer in a group of people that a character has known her whole life. The setup for a group of true-crime enthusiasts being the victims was original, and the characters were eclectic enough that I didn't feel like they were cookie-cutter types.

Pretty good. It was a quick read and I liked the main character, Roe. This is the first one in the series. I'll probably try a couple more but I have a feeling Harris has a formula and that could get boring....

Fun premise, but Aurora is boring.

Dated and poorly written
