Well, it's much the same as the others... and that's its downfall, really. Loved the Heist, think it's time to make Stephanie choose and wind the series up and focus on new things.
Pure formula. I'm pretty bored with the series, but I keep hoping the next one will be different. I've been thinking that for at least 7 books. It makes me sad; the first few in the series were fun and original. Alas, those days are over.
The Stephanie Plum series is the perfect mindless, fun entertainmentThey're formulaic in the extreme.
Each book has the same themes - Stephanie as a lousy bail bondsman, Lula as a comic foil, sexual tension with Ranger and inability to commit with Morelli. They are the empty calories of the book world.

This book is not my favorite of the series but it was still an enjoyable read and made me laugh. I do think the storyline is moving forward and Stephanie will finally make the decision between Ranger or Morelli.
This is one of those series like Sookie Stackhouse that I keep reading for some reason although the books aren't good. These books have become exactly the same. I feel like different details are plugged in over an existing framework.
This series has been the books I read while on the elliptical machine or treadmill. Light, quick, brain candy, that often times entices me to do "just one more chapter". I'm almost at the end of the series, so hope I can find a suitable replacement!
Always delightful. As usual, several lol moments.
Sometimes you just need to read something silly and fun. Stephanie Plum is just that and I enjoyed this installment in the series. She still hasn't made up her mind about Morelli and Ranger, but I guess when that happens the series will be over. Grandma Mazur had a big role in this book and that makes for some good laughs.
