these books never disappoint. another fast and funny read. although i still don't understand how her hamster can still be alive.
Another fun read from Janet Evanovich in the Stephanie Plum series. Because this is such a long running series I do not recommend starting from here but if you’re familiar with the series and characters you can always jump in with this story. Stephanie may be on her last straw as a bounty hunter. She’s finally run in to the one criminal that no one in her New Jersey town wants to give up. Being denied and threatened at every turn, Stephanie is thinking she’s ready to turn in her handcuffs, taser, and gun. As she and her sidekick, Lulu, travel the streets tracking down the criminals, this story is full of the same great humor, bumbling detecting, and smexy times with Joe and Ranger that we’ve come to know and love from Ms. Evanovich. Fun read!
As with most series, this one gets cliche the further it goes. Still a fast and fairly entertaining read, but I definitely feel like the past 10 in the series have had the exact same plot.
This series has deteriorated. It seems to be a constant recycling of the same themes and action scenes. I read it as mindless fluff, but I think I might be done.
Ah, Stephanie - back in business and making me laugh along with you.
Most of the stories are pretty much the same but it's good mindless reading and he characters are endearing
I don't know why I keep reading these. This was better than some of her recent efforts...but even the first three weren't as earth-shakingly funny as everyone kept trying to tell me. Now, they're written so quickly that they all tend to run together, and she's going back to her romance novel roots with this stupid Ranger vs. Morelli situation. The giraffe was funny. Anyhow, for some reason, I keep getting them from the library and reading them. What can I say? It's what I do instead of watching TV.
these books are what you expect of them. brain fluff but I wish she would smarten them up just a bit. after twenty books you dont need to introduce your characters anymore.
