Takedown Twenty

Janet Evanovich

Just okay. Loved the giraffe. Stef needs to make some decisions, the series is getting old.

I wish there was a bit more on her decision/relationship status. I just wish she would pick one already and have a bit of the story about that.

Perfect audio for a long drive to Mississippi and back

Good, fast, fun.

Pretty much the same as the previous Stephanie Plum number books. A completely unmemorable fiction diversion.

3.5* I hadn't caught up on my Stephanie Plum series in awhile, which I guess was a good thing because I actually enjoyed this one. Fun twist with the giraffe along with the usual, dependable characters we know and love

I think that I am about done with this series. It's now turned into the same story over and over and there is little progression of any of the characters. How can Stephanie still be sooooo bad at her job! shouldn't she have learned a little by now.

I may not read anymore so as not to further spoil my opinion of what in the first 10-15 were one of my favorite fun series of books.

And for sure I am not buying anymore of these books. If I decide to read one, I will get it from the library like I have the last 4. it's like the author took the manuscript that was saved on her computer from the previous book and just went in and did some editing and rearranging and made a few changes and tried to call it a new book.

Same old story but I did get some laughs and I was way off on who I thought the killer was. Stephanie clearly knows nothing about what goes on in Joe's life. I vote she dump Joe and pick ranger already

3/5
A fairly mediocre entry in the series with too much time spent on the lame and worn out love triangle subplot.

I've had a Evanovich/Plum hiatus before picking up this book. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked Kevin the giraffe, grandma Bella, grandma Mazur and Lula, as always.
