Again Stephanie makes me stop and think, "What am I complaining about? No one's ever tried to kill me or my grandmother. My life is beautiful!"
Some laughs, but I was really wanting an ending to the story. Who does she choose and all. It is time :(
Initial Impressions 12/24/15: This may actually be one of my favorite Stephanie Plum novels so far! Or at least since the very beginning. Loved that Stephanie is taking relationships more seriously, or at least considering it. Good amount of goofy with serious and again, great high stakes!
This was a better one than the last few have been. Not as funny but some parts still made me laugh out loud. The mystery was pretty good too.
3.5 stars. Despite everyone being their usual selves--Stephanie, undecided and inept; Lula, a pain in the ass; Morelli, always looking for a booty call; Grandma, searching for love in all the wrong places; and Ranger, well, being sex in black, this was a little better entry than 19. I prefer these in audio but since I've listened to the last 13, decided to read since I have the voices in my head. This for sure won't be going on my best of the year list but it was a good diversion between football plays.
Not her best version but still entertaining. Loved the giraffe thread but didn’t like Grandma Mazur getting mixed up with Sunny to mobster. Reliable easy read but not my favorite episode.
I feel like I’ve had a fever dream of reading another book in this series. But I honestly don’t care enough to look it up. Either way, the giraffe was the best character.
I barely remember this book and I listened to it two days ago. And I had to go back multiple times cause I zoned out too hard. This is not a good sign. What I do remember is some fat shaming, me thinking “is this racist?” Multiple times when the one sex worker was in a scene, and me constantly wanting to listen to anything else. But I had to have something to fill my Popsugar 2020 challenge.

Yes Janet, we get it. You are witty and amusing and Stephanie is a one-woman disaster torn between two ridiculously hot men. Move on already, you are killing me. I know, I know...and yet I keep reading them.
