I'm really digging the trend of turning existing books, both fiction and nonfiction, into graphic novels/graphic nonfiction. Because of how much more quickly I can read a graphic text (and particularly in the case of nonfiction, the added interest of the graphic format), I'm able to read a lot more and have exposure to a lot more ideas without necessarily reading all of the books. Harari's books have been on my to-read list for a while now and realistically speaking I am not sure that I ever would have gotten around to reading them unless the stars aligned somehow. I really enjoyed this and learned some interesting things and will definitely look forward to reading the next volume.

Somewhat sloppy artwork, not-exactly-flashy graphic design, but absolutely wonderful nonetheless!!! This is a fascinating, foundational, effervescent read.
Creative take on human evolution. The graphic novel interprets what could be potentially very dense and dry content and presents it in dialogue format with vivid illustrations. Offers a unique perspective on humankind, human history, and what lies ahead.

I am not a "good" comic reader. I always like that comics in general are short and that I easily can go through them and take a break. 240 pages is therefore quite a read for me. Plus it is a very serious and interesting topic. This comic is done well, I am not even sure if you can call it a comic but this graphic design for this book was good. It made me want to reread Sapiens and finally finish it. Now that I have not much more homework to do (I started a Swedish language course though), I feel like it might be easier to read than while I was trying to write essays and study.
I heard so many positive notions of this book and it was a very welcome gift from my internship. I think changing the impressive work of Sapiens into a graphic book makes it easier for people to also read. Those that do not like reading thick books or are easier distracted. I would definitely recommend this book and I hope they continue with the whole series of Harari's work.
