This book was a delight! I loved this mishmash of misfit characters, who in any other circumstance we wouldn't see together, formed a bond. I also liked that the a-ha moments were complete surprises that I didn't see coming. If you enjoy a fun mystery, pick this one up.

Gotta love the whole "group of unlikely people banding together to solve a mystery" thing!
I appreciate how the book focuses on all the characters in the book club--their lives, their relationships, and how the books/media they consume leaks into how they think about real life. All in all, a fun romp.

For the majority of this book, I couldn't help but think of Clare Pooley's "How to Age Disgracefully" - but this one was more focused on the mystery element and the community center quickly became secondary. I liked the quirky cast of characters, but there were so many little twists and changes that I didn't necessarily think it needed!
