This book is a really good Middle Grade fiction book. I read this for a book challenge and I wish I had this book growing up. It was really impactful to me. Though i’m not a big poetry fan so it loses a little bit for me there

I read this entire book in one sitting; I couldn’t put it down! A beautiful journey of overcoming the hate of others to find love for yourself. I sobbed pretty much cover to cover. This is the kind of book I wish I’d had when I was a kid.

If you grew up fat and need a reminder that the shit you went through shouldn't have happened, this is the book for you. I needed this book when I was young. And I'm happy it exists now.
